Once again what Barry Eaton has written is spot on with my own findings.
I knew that highly religious people are segregated on arrival in the Afterlife. My own 'thoughts' and 'psychic intuition' were telling me that it was because there has to be harmony in the Spiritual Planes and religion can as we very well know be extremely disruptive.
Barry quotes a regressionist, Nancy Canning, and an investigative Lawyer, Victor Zammit on this question.
Nancy confirms that not one of her countless subjects has reported knowledge of religion in their regressions. "In the spirit world there is no religion, because that is part of the human experience and not part of the spiritual experience."
Nancy found that even when very religious people, such as bishops, nuns, prophets and rabbis, return to the spirit world they were not greeted by a religious figure such as Jesus or Buddha, but were instead met and welcomed by their guide or members of their soul family. ... The existence of angels is entirely another matter..."
Barry - "Highly religious souls usually find themselves in a familiar religious setting when they first return to the world of spirit, to help ease their return and make them feel comfortable. In effect they have created this image of the afterlife from their strongly held belief system. Those who believe a pious life will see them in a kind of pre-conceived heaven will find themselves in that setting. They do not realise at first there is any other kind of life outside this, however, they are eventually shown gently that other spiritual levels are open to them if they choose to advance into them. There is no pressure exerted on these souls as it is up to each individual to decide when to progress."
This sphere is located on the Plane of Illusion, and is a self-contained area to correspond with the beliefs and practices of very religious people. There are many specialised sections and people do not generally mix with other religions. Victor Zammit describes this as 'hollow heaven', a place where like-minded souls with rigid beliefs find themselves. He says some people are so fixed in their beliefs that they stay in this place waiting for Mohammad, Jesus, Buddha, Jehovah - or whoever they believe will come for them - to arrive and spirit them away to Paradise.
.....Dogmatic beliefs can affect our progress in the afterlife, but, as with everything in spirit, we are never without hope or help.
John Dingwall was a highly respected journalist and later screenwriter and film producer. He passed over in 2005 and since then has provided a wealth of information on what it is like in the Afterlife. His final point was about those people who cross over from a highly religious background thinking they are headed for heaven while all the others are hell bound. His message was "THEY'RE IN FOR A SHOCK.'
Malcolm: There is no doubt at all that no matter what we have done in our lives we can all progress to higher planes when we learn our lessons. BUT being locked into a lower plane because of our own rigid fanaticism really does stop us from proceeding to that upper Heaven.
