If we ever needed proof that the original words of the Bible have been tampered with then we need look no further than Psalm 46.
46:1 God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
46:2 Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea;
46:3 Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. Selah.
46:4 There is a river, the streams whereof shall make glad the city of God, the holy place of the tabernacles of the most High.
46:5 God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved: God shall help her, and that right early.
46:6 The heathen raged, the kingdoms were moved: he uttered his voice, the earth melted.
46:7 The LORD of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah.
46:8 Come, behold the works of the LORD, what desolations he hath made in the earth.
46:9 He maketh wars to cease unto the end of the earth; he breaketh the bow, and cutteth the spear in sunder; he burneth the chariot in the fire.
46:10 Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.
46:11 The LORD of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah.
Note - Selah is a liturgical pause and is not part of the Psalm.
The Hebrew Version translated into English:
God for us is a refuge and strength a help in dire straits reachable with ease.
So we are not afraid when the land moves and the mountains topple into the heart of the sea.
Let its waters roar and seethe! Let mountains quake in its swell!
Selah
There is a river whose channels gladden God’s city the Most High’s holy accommodations.
God is in her midst she will not be toppled. God will help her at the break of morn.
Nations roar kingdoms topple he lets go with his voice the earth melts. The Yahweh of Armies is with us the God of Jacob is our haven.
Selah
Come, see Yahweh’s doings what desolations on earth he has wrought who makes wars cease to the ends of the earth the bow he breaks the spear he snaps wagons he burns in fire. Desist, know that I am God I stand above the nations I stand above the earth.
The Yahweh of Armies is with us the God of Jacob is our haven.
Selah

BUT in this case certain changes were made to introduce the Goddess Athena !!!
The pseudonym of the Goddess is there in the version we have today in the King James Bible and it was fairly well known in the early 17th century when it was edited by Sir Francis Bacon whom we now know through irrefutable evidence to have been the Poet and Dramatist famous for his plays as Shakespeare.
Sir Francis was the eldest son of Queen Elizabeth I and her married husband the Earl of Leicester. He was secretly farmed out to Nicholas Bacon and his wife who raised Francis as their own. We know from a deciphered text that Francis was in his teens before he learned the truth of this parentage. Both that and his work as a playwright had to be kept secret.
King James knew and consequently afforded Francis certain privileges and appointments. One was made when Francis was 46 years old and at this time he was commissioned with the job of knocking the new authorised Bible into shape.
Though Francis always remained a Christian he and his father had a Temple devoted to the Goddess Athena at their home at St.Albans. Athena was known to be a SPEAR SHAKER for she dispelled knowledge and learning through a shake of her spear.
So now let us have a closer look at Psalm 46.
46:1 God (1) is (2) our (3) refuge (4) and (5) strength,(6) a (7) very (8) present (9) help (10) in (11) trouble. (12)
46:2 Therefore (13) will (14) not (15) we (16) fear,(17) though (18) the (19) earth (20) be(21) removed, (22) and (23) though (24) the (25) mountains (26) be (27) carried (28) into(29) the (30) midst (31) of (32) the (33) sea; (34)
46:3 Though (35) the (36) waters (37) thereof (38) roar (39) and (40) be (41) troubled, (42) though (43) the (44) mountains (45) shake (46) with the swelling thereof.
46:8 Come, behold the works of the LORD, what desolations he hath made in the earth.
46:9 He maketh wars to cease unto the end of the earth; he breaketh the bow, and cutteth the spear (46) in (45) sunder; (44) he (43) burneth (42) the (41) chariot (40) in (39) the(38) fire. (37)
46:10 Be (36) still, (35) and (34) know(33) that (32) I (31) am (30) God: (29) I (28) will (27) be (26) exalted (25) among (24) the (23) heathen, (22) I (21) will (20) be(19) exalted (18) in(17) the (16) earth. (15)
46:11 The (14) LORD (13) of (12) hosts (11) is (10) with (9) us; (8) the (7) God (6) of (5) Jacob (4) is (3) our (2) refuge. (1)
It is no coincidence that Shake and Spear are the 46th words from the beginning and from the end.
