There is of course nothing divine about the Bible. If there was then there wouldn't be a single error or contradiction in any of the pages. But just how did it become so messed up? At first we could just point to the many different scribes who were simply recording events to their own way of thinking. There weren't just the few who today have their names attributed to each book. We can tell by the texts that perhaps hundreds of thousands of different writers each contributed some small part. There is a fairly simple answer when one remembers that nothing in the Bible is original. The whole thing has been copied and plagiarised many times even before the translators began to give all their opposing ideas of what was meant in the text they were redesigning. That is why a study of the Egyptian Originals is so important. Get back to the real beginning of the divine wisdom and then and only then will we ever have any idea of what we are being taught. Tracing each part of the Bible back to Egyptian Beliefs is an enormous task. Some of my work can be studied here - biblicalegypt.freeforums.net/index.cgi But I keep finding more and more. Only yesterday evening I came across another example. I need to go through it all again to get the whole story but basically I have just found that the Pharaoh's dream about the Seven Cows etc. is part of The Book of the Dead as it is called now - real title is The Book of Coming Forth.
