This is such an important point and of course it reinforces what any researcher will eventually discover about Christianity, namely that it was only ever a book of myths plagiarised from ancient Egyptian beliefs with a little bit of the Sumerian tossed in as dressing.
So many ancients protested about the lies some 1900 years ago. If only people had listened and checked then oh how much peaceful the world would have been today.
Galatians 1:11 For I would have you know brethren, that the gospel which was preached by me is not man's gospel. 12 For I DID NOT RECEIVE IT FROM MAN nor was I taught it, but IT CAME THROUGH A REVELATION OF JESUS CHRIST.
1:15 But when he who had set me apart before I was born, and had called me through his grace, was pleased TO REVEAL HIS SON TO ME, in order that I might preach him among the Gentiles, I DID NOT CONFER WITH FLESH AND BLOOD....
Verse 4:4 uses the phrase 'born of woman'. But this is not in Young's Literal translation which uses 'come of a woman', instead.
Then Verse 4:6 ensures that we are not misled - And because you are sons, GOD HAS SENT THE SPIRIT OF HIS SON INTO YOUR HEARTS...
In Chapter 3, Paul chides the Galatians because they have fallen into the trap of believing that the stories of Jesus were true.
3:1 O foolish Galatians! Who has bewitched you, before whose eyes Jesus Christ was publicly PORTRAYED as crucified? 2. Let me ask you only this: Did you receive the Spirit by works of the law, or by hearing with faith? ARE YOU SO FOOLISH? HAVING BEGUN WITH THE SPIRIT, are you now ending with the flesh?
In other words the people of Galatia believed only in the Spiritual Jesus, like everyone else, and then let themselves be fooled into believing that really had happened, not thousands of years ago, but just recently in a country they knew little about, far to their south.
This was debated at some length in 'Where's Jesus' in 2010. In the end the fact remains that Jesus was only a Spirit God and never lived as the stories copied into the gospels from the Ancient Egyptian Jesus.
Early Christians all knew this. It would be interesting though if we could discover exactly who it was in Alexandria who concocted the lies we read today and which so many mistakenly believe.
