We are told so often that the King James Bible is God's literal word, yet it is nothing like the Hebrew version and let's face it this is where it came from. Judge for yourself. King James Version Genesis 6:16 A window shalt thou make to the ark, and in a cubit shalt thou finish it above; and the door of the ark shalt thou set in the side thereof; with lower, second, and third stories shalt thou make it. compared with a literal translation from the Hebrew: “A light you do to an ark and to a cubit you complete it from to over it and a door of the ark in its side you put unders twenty and thirty you do.” According to Hebrew Bible researcher Jeff Benner this is not an isolated case but is as bad as this all the way through the bible which has been translated not for accuracy but in a way that is acceptable and will fit in with Christian beliefs. See - www.ancient-hebrew.org/2_bible.html Consequently the earliest Christians relied to a great extent on what the Coptic Monks in Egypt wrote in Greek. When we refer to those writings then the whole bag of tricks explodes. The Septuagint written in Greek makes it very plain that Jesus was around many thousands of years ago. The Septuagint even has a Book of Jesus who is also mentioned in other Old Testament books, including Numbers and Exodus. For example Exodus 17:9 in the Septuagint names Jesus whilst later versions in English change the name to Joshua, in an obvious deception.
