There are a number of instances of Bible Errancy exposed in The Tutankhamen Code. Whilst it is mainly a novel with a fictional story set in both present times and in 18th Dynasty Egypt many truths discovered through extensive research and by consulting others who have found the very same facts, are clearly set out in an Appendix and in End Notes.
There isn't the slightest doubt in the World that Israel was at one time Lower Egypt - just read 1 Samuel Chapters 4 to 6 carefully which names the capital of Israel as Bethshemesh - The Ancient Sacred City of Heliopolis also known as Iunu or On, right next to modern day Cairo (Ancient Gerar then Kherar).

The Tutankhamen Code is a fascinating journey into the soul of ancient Egypt and some of the greatest secrets. Malcolm Hutton has decided to follow the method of the ancients expressing this gnosis (wisdom) in the form of fiction.
Today we think fiction is a form of entertainment, but in traditional cultures storytelling, myth and legend was a significant way of transmitting esoteric wisdom. Indeed, most traditional cultures did not have any form of secular storytelling (or art) at all. In these oral cultures, wisdom passed from bard to bard, only much later being recorded in physical form. Examples of such texts are the Sagas, Eddas, Indian Puranas, the works of Homer such as the Iliad and the Odyssey, and so on.
Hutton’s work is impressive as both a novel and a format to transmit a certain gnosis. It is well written, filled with fascinating historical detail, plot and characters, and keeps you riveted page to page – in other words, a damn good page turner. It is certainly a large novel, some seven hundred pages in relatively small type, but will keep your attention and worth the investment of time.
The underlying theme is fascinating and controversial. The role of Egypt in the development of what is called Western philosophy and religion, while ignored by modern scholars, has always been taken seriously by esotericists and occultists. Plato and early Greek philosophers all claimed their wisdom originated in Egypt and that many of them travelled there to study and be initiated.
Many have noted the clear similarities between Egyptian mythology and the gospels, especially esotericist and Egyptologist Gerald Massey whose works Natural Genecist and Ancient Egypt – The Light of the World are still fascinating reading today. Certain Gnostic sects placed a strong emphasis on the role of Egypt and interpreted the Bible in a similar light.
Hutton takes such works as his lead and sees the gospels and the biblical epic as actually occurring within Egypt, with Egypt being the source from which the river flows, so to speak. Hutton sees ‘Iusu, Jesus, the Messiah, or Christ Na (Krishna)’ as originating in Egypt and resonating through history in myths and legend.
Expanding his thesis, Hutton explores a range of significant themes from the Cathars, Gnostics, biblical myth, reincarnation, and much more.
The Tutankhamen Code is a challenging read for any mainstream Christian, but will be enlightening for anyone seeking a deeper and more profound understanding of the Christian myth and its origins.
I highly recommend it. Robert Black.
